Alyona Baranoff

Alyona Baranoff is an American-born Russian-German painter and filmmaker. Moving from Boston at the age of three, she grew up in Moscow and moved to Berlin as a teen. While she currently attends Central Saint Martins and develops a practice in sculpture, gouache on paper remains her main medium. In addition to painting, she directs music videos and short films and plays drums. Her work has been exhibited as part of group and solo exhibitions and auctions in Berlin, Rome and Moscow and published online and in print.
